Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey is a philanthropist, media executive, and talk show host best known for hosting “The Oprah Winfrey Show” from 1986 to 2011. After the last season, she launched her own television network, the Oprah Winfrey Network. Born in a rural town in Mississippi, through years of abuse as a teenager, Winfrey began working on television in Nashville. She hosted several shows before starting “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that brought her to international success in over 100 countries.
