Former vice president of the National Book Critics Circle, she is a contributing editor at Popular Science and has published over 200 featured essays and short stories in newspapers, such as The New York Times, Discover, and the New York magazine. Skloot has received many awards for her writing and lavish praises for her debut book, “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.”
