Paul Collier is a British development economist, who works as a professor of economics and director of the Center for the Study of African Economies at Oxford University. He worked as Director of Development Research at the World Bank. Collier is the author of the award-winning “The Bottom Billion,” “Wars, Guns, and Votes: Democracy in Dangerous Places,” and “The Future of Capitalism.”
