Carl Sagan

Carl Sagan (1934-2006) is most known for his life-long efforts in popularizing science. Aside from the television series described above, he authored numerous books including “The Dragons of Eden” and “Pale Blue Dot,” spent decades as a professor of astronomy at Cornell University and is the recipient of many awards and honors such as NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal, Pulitzer Prize for nonfiction and others.
