Bruce D. Perry

Bruce D. Perry is a child psychiatrist, neuroscientist, and author. He is the principal of the Neurosequential Network, senior fellow of the ChildTrauma Academy, and an adjunct professor of psychiatry at the Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. As an author, he is best known for the book based on his work with maltreated children: ‘’The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog.’’ Together with Oprah Winfrey, he has written a book about trauma titled, ‘’What Happened To You?’’
