Marvin Karlins received his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota (Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude) and his Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University. He is the author of 24 books and more than 200 articles in professional, scholarly and popular journals. In addition to his writing activities, Professor Karlins was interviewed on radio and television programs and also served as an international consultant for large companies, concentrating his efforts on the aviation industry (where he worked with Singapore Airlines for 20 years). Dr. Karlins is currently a Professor of Management at the Faculty of Business at the University of South Florida and lives in Riverview, Florida with his wife, Edyth and his daughter, Amber Nicole. He also played on the World Poker Tour.
