Books by Jonah Lehrer

Jonah Lehrer is an American author. A Rhodes scholar, he had published three bestselling nonfiction books before turning 30 – “Proust Was a Neuroscientist,” “How We Decide,” and “Imagine” – and was widely considered a worthy successor of Malcolm Gladwell. However, it was later discovered that Lehrer had regularly recycled his own work and occasionally misquoted and plagiarized other authors.

How We Decide

Jonah Lehrer

Investigating the biology behind our decision-making abilities, and the ways in which humans can tweak their inborn mental instincts to their advantage, “How We Decide” by Jonah Lehrer was one of the first books to translate the unexpected discoveries of modern neuroscience into practical advice to help people make better decisions.
