Listen to the intro

Who it is for

Best suited for the middle managers in any company, anyone wanting to become a successful manager, students of management practices, anyone interested in the workings of Intel.

Key Insights

Think in output, not activity

Don’t measure effort—measure the impact of systems. Outputs = what moves the needle. Activity ≠ progress.

Use task-relevant maturity

Adjust your management style based on the employee’s skill in the task—not their title. High-leverage leadership is contextual.

Meetings are production lines

Treat staff meetings like manufacturing lines. Standardize inputs, outputs, and outcomes to maximize clarity and speed.
