Richard Branson

Sir Richard Branson is a British entrepreneur and philanthropist, one of the 400 wealthiest people in the world. A high-school dropout, he set up a successful mail-order record business at 20, before opening “Virgin Records” – his first record store at the age of 22. The Virgin brand would experience rapid growth during the next few decades, allowing Branson to expand his empire in several areas. In 2000, Branson was knighted for his services to entrepreneurship and, two years later, was voted the 85th Greatest Briton in history.
