Paul Nurse

Sir Paul Nurse is a British geneticist, chief executive and director of the Francis Crick Institute, and former president of the Royal Society. In 2001, he shared the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for discovering key regulators of the cell cycle. He has received numerous other awards and accolades, including more than 60 honorary degrees and fellowships. He was knighted in 1999.
