H.G. “Buzz” Bissinger is an American author and journalist, best known for his book “Friday Night Lights.” In 1987, he won a Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting for his story on corruption in the Philadelphia court system. He has been a contributing editor for Vanity Fair magazine for many years, to which he contributed vastly by covering Bruce Jenner’s transition in 2015. The story was kept secret for months, to finally become one of the biggest international scoops.
