Carol S. Dweck is a professor of psychology at Stanford University, a graduate of Barnard College and Ph.D. from Yale University. Her main areas of research and development are motivation, personality, and development. Carol is one of the world's leading researchers in the field of motivation. Her research focused on why and how people achieve success. She gave lectures around the world and was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Her work has been featured in such publications as The New Yorker, Time, The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Boston Globe.
