Mike Tyson is a retired American boxer who was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world from 1987 to 1990. Two years later, he was convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison. After his early release in 1995, he regained two of his titles – only to lose them to Evander Holyfield. In their rematch, Tyson was disqualified for biting Holyfield’s ear. He retired from boxing in 2005.
