White Fragility

Robin DiAngelo

In “White Fragility,” American academic and diversity educator Robin DiAngelo inspects the modern adaptations of racism in the United States against the backdrop of its historical evolution. After demonstrating that racism is not gone, but only transformed, she goes on to discuss “white fragility” – a state in which even a minimum amount of racial stress becomes intolerable for white people, triggering a range of defensive moves.
